 Our Real Need

1 ) We of modern India need to know India and we need to study India not superficially as a tourist but like a pilgrim who has taken a staff in his hand and set out for a long journey that lies through plains, and mountains and tunnels and sanctuaries. There is a need to  review the problems of India in an effort to find original solutions in the light of the Indian spirit and in an effort to develop synthesis of knowledge and synthesis of spiritual and material aspects of the individual and collective life.

2) One world is inescapable; But we need to determine what the new world of oneness be like.

1. Not uniformity but unity.
2. Liberty, but also equality and fraternity.        
3. Truth, beauty and goodness in all spheres of life.

This will be the formula of the future. Let us study what this means and implies.

Resurgent India invites all to these two programs of studies.

Problems which need urgent attention:

1. Constitutional reforms
2. National Integration and Communal Harmony
3. Growth and nourishment of patriotism in the global world.  
4. Problems of North East India
5. Rural Development
6. Empowerment of Women
7. Development of Infrastructure

Problems of India that deserve central attention:

1. Education and education system of India : Innovations and Reforms
2. Power and availability of power in required measure in all parts of India, right upto the level of villages.

Development of friendly relationships with South Asian countries, ASEAN countries, Asian Countries and with all the countries of the world.

Our Call is to Young India

Our call is to Young India. It is the young who must be the builders of the new world, — not those who must be the builders of the new world, - not those who accept the competitive individualism, the capitalism or the materialistic communism of the west as India’s future ideal, nor those who are enslaved to old religious formulas and cannot believe in the acceptance and transformation of life by the spirit, but all who are free in mind and heart to accept a completer truth and labor for a greater ideal. They must be men who will dedicate themselves not to the past or to the present, but to the future. They will need to consecrate their lives to an exceeding of their lower self and to the realization of God in themselves and in all human beings and to a whole minded and indefatigable labor for the nation and for humanity. This idea can be as yet only a little seed and the life that embodies it a small nucleus , but it is our fixed home that the seed will grow in to a great tree and the nucleus be the heart of an over extending formation. It is our fixed hope that the seed will grow into a great tree and the nucleus be the heart of an over extending formation. It is with a confident trust in the spirit that inspires us that we take our place among the standard bearers of the new humanity that is struggling to be born amidst the chaos of a world in dissolution, and of the future India, the greater India of the rebirth that is to rejuvenate the mighty out-worn body of the ancient mother.

The Youth power of India has to be energized.
The youth of India need the following things:

1. Development of skills in various fields
2. Study and practice of the science and the Art of Living, that aim at pursuit of knowledge, of heroism, of harmony and even greater perfection.
3. Development of the capacity to take charge of their own education, irrespective of what the imported system is providing to them .
4. Study of competing ideologies of capitalism, materialism, socialism, communism and religionism.
5. Development of large visions of the future. Create alternative visions and the debate them, critically with the highest intellectual acumen.
6. Development of a new brain of India , --large, robust, subtle , complex, with a great ability to “Synthesize”.  There has to be a synthesis of the East and West. All the problems of conflict have to be studied; All tendencies for exclusivism whether in religion, or in humastistic, social and political thought will need to be excluded
7. The central question of our ages: Can we exclude Exclusivism ?
8. Poverty can never be a national ideal, even though individuals may voluntarily adopt poverty as a part of ethical or spiritual development.  The nation must proclaim opulent prosperity for the upliftment of all as the national economic ideal. A new program of the youths to realize this ideal will need to be evolved.
9. India has vitality, it has creativity ; it has immense productivity; but India will need to develop abilities of engineering and designing so that the vitality, creativity and productivity can be harnessed in the right direction and the in right proportions.

Let us resolve that India shall rise and India shall fulfill the promises which are still to be fulfilled.

The Three Tasks of India

Three major tasks of India:

1. To recover the old spiritual knowledge of India in its fullness and amplitude
   (Spiritual knowledge is to be distinguished from religions of India and various forms of institutions that have come into existence in the course of the development of Indian religions)
   Basically we need to recover the yogic knowledge contained in the Vedas,  Upanishads , the Gita, Buddhism and Jainism. 
2. To generate interest and studies in Philosophy, science and disciplines of critical knowledge and to review them and develop them by irrigating them with the yogic knowledge contained in the Vedas, Upanishads and the Gita.
3. To review the problems of India in an effort to find original solutions in the light of the Indian spirit and in an effort to develop synthesis of knowledge and synthesis of spiritual and material aspects of the individual and collective life.

 The question is whether you are really want to know yourself . Do you really want to know what you should be doing and do you really want to rise to the highest possible that you are capable.

If the answer is YES, then we are with you, not as guides or teachers but as friends engaged in the search in which you would like to be engaged ?

Our Action

1. Targeted campaign to address relevant issues of national importance.
2. Identification of experts in respect of various problems that Resurgent India wants to concentrate on; facilitating dialogue amongst them; and facilitating transmission of their thoughts to selected groups or the public in general.
3. Generate exchange of ideas through email, and publication of occasional papers.
4. Organization of seminars, roundtables, colloquia and conferences.
5. Transmission of messages news and ideas through website.
6. Preparation of a directory of those who wish to be associated with the work of Resurgent India; interchange of ideas amongst them
7. Preparation of directories of institutions in the country devoted to policy research, economic research, and to innovations and reforms.
8. Commissioning learned papers on problems that Resurgent India wants to concentrate on.
9. Enlist volunteers who would like to actively promote the work of Resurgent India to develop and organize a virtual institute of the youths and teachers for continuous training.
